Participant Privacy Policy

1. Invitations and registration

Accepting invitations. When accepting an invitation to register as a participant for Sessions on the Junier Platform, you will be prompted for your name and email address. On behalf of the Platform Account owner, we will create an internal profile with this information.

Communications. Junier uses Mailtrap (https://www.mailtrap.io) to allow Platform Account owners to send invitations to participate in Sessions. The Platform Account owner will use e-mail addresses and first names for sending these invitations.

2. Your data

Data controller. The Platform Account owner acts as the data controller for your data, with Junier acting as the data processor. Should you have any questions about your participation, data storage, or deletion requests, please contact the Platform Account owner who invited you.

Data collected. During your participation, the following may be collected: video and audio recordings of the session, screen recordings and your responses and feedback.

Data access. Your data is accessible only to the Platform Account owner who invited you and authorised users within their Account for their internal business purposes only. Junier employees may access your data when necessary for technical support purposes.

Data processing. Junier processes your data on behalf of the Platform Account owner in accordance with their instructions.

Data security. Your data is stored on secure servers within the EU. Processing of your data may occur in the EU and other locations when using third-party services (see International Transfers below). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data.

3. International Transfers

Some use of third-party services may involve international transfers, including:

• Live video sessions may be routed internationally when participants are in different locations
• Some live transcription services may process data outside the EU

We only use service providers that provide appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by GDPR.

4. Unsubscribing from invitations

Should you change your mind, you can always unsubscribe from invitations to participate in Sessions by the Platform Account owner that you registered with. To stop receiving invitations, simply click “Unsubscribe from invitations” in the invitation email.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request correction or deletion of your data, object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact the Platform Account owner.

6. How long we keep your data

Your data is retained until you or the Platform Account owner requests deletion, or as specified by the Platform Account owner's retention policy.
